 MHCF Recognizes and Congratulates the Following Non-Profit Organizations Who Have Received Disaster Relief GrantsIn January 2021, the MHCF hit a major milestone in our COVID-19 pandemic Disaster Relief Program. We achieved our grant matching goal and completed four grant cycles totaling over $100,000 in 21 awarded grants supporting 14 Morgan Hill area non-profits. These grant recipients received disaster relief funds ranging from $2,000 up to $25,000 per grant. In turn, these local non-profits use the grant funding to provide essential resources and services to individuals and families of greatest need during this ongoing economic and health crisis. These grant recipients received disaster relief funds ranging from $2,000 up to $20,000 per grant. In turn, these local non-profits use the grant funding to provide essential resources and services to individuals and families of greatest need during this ongoing economic and health crisis.
 APPLY FOR GRANTS FUNDING LOCAL COVID-19 RELIEF EFFORTSThe Morgan Hill Community Foundation (MHCF) is continuing to accept applications for grants in support of local COVID-19 related relief efforts. New grant applications received will be reviewed January 7 for awards expected to be issued in the second week of January.
MHCF’s COVID-19 Disaster Relief Program is an ongoing fundraising and grants program, with no firm deadline for submitting grant applications. Grant applications are periodically reviewed by our community advisory committee as funds become available. To date, the fund has granted out over $48,000 to local nonprofit organizations with amounts ranging from $2,000 up to $8,000 per grant.  MHCF Philanthropy Night Honorees to be Celebrated on November 13, 2020 During Virtual EventThe Morgan Hill Community Foundation (MHCF) has conducted a celebration of philanthropy for the Greater Morgan Hill Area dating back to 2005. This annual event provides recognition to individuals who have been nominated by their non-profit organization for impact to people and non-profits in our local community. Philanthropy Night is geared towards recognizing the good work of local volunteers and philanthropists who embody the “Give Where You Live” spirit. MHCF plans to continue this important tradition and will conduct a virtual event in 2020.
