The Morgan Hill Community Foundation (MHCF) proudly congratulates its esteemed board members, Peggy Martin and Jana Diakova, on their significant achievements at the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce’s 67th annual Celebrate Morgan Hill Awards. Peggy Martin was honored as Woman of the Year. The Large Business of the Year award was presented to MG Constructors and Engineers, where Jana Diakova serves as Director of Marketing and Business Development.
"It is an incredible honor to witness the recognition of our board members, who truly embody the spirit of community service," said Robert Christopher, President of MHCF. "Their selfless dedication and significant contributions have profoundly enriched Morgan Hill, and we are immensely proud of their accomplishments." Peggy Martin's unwavering commitment to service has made a profound and lasting impact on countless lives in Morgan Hill. As a financial advisor she extends her expertise through financial education, assisting individuals and families with their financial well-being. Her inspiring leadership and passion have been instrumental in driving positive change and fostering a stronger, more connected community. As Treasurer and a dedicated Board Member of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation since 2015, she champions the "Give Where You Live" philosophy to foster lasting local impact. Jana Diakova, a valued recent addition to the MHCF Board of Directors, has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to the growth and prosperity of Morgan Hill through her service and community partnerships. MG Constructors & Engineers, under Jana's guidance in marketing, has been a dedicated sponsor of MHCF initiatives for several years, and the Foundation is delighted to see their commitment recognized with the Large Business of the Year award. Their dedication to excellence and community involvement sets a high standard for businesses in the South County. The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is also deeply proud of its strong connection to Leadership Morgan Hill, which was rightfully honored as Nonprofit of the Year. The fact that a significant majority of MHCF's board members are alumni of this vital program underscores the shared commitment to developing community leaders and fostering positive change within Morgan Hill. "The strong representation of Leadership Morgan Hill alumni on our board speaks volumes about the caliber of leadership within our organization," stated Mario Banuelos, Grant Committee Chair at MHCF. "Leadership Morgan Hill's well-deserved recognition as Nonprofit of the Year highlights its crucial role in our community, and we are proud to be closely associated with such an impactful program. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and service of all our board members." The Morgan Hill Community Foundation extends its warmest congratulations to Peggy Martin, MG Constructors & Engineers, Leadership Morgan Hill, and all the deserving recipients at the Celebrate Morgan Hill Awards. Their dedication, passion, and contributions exemplify the very best of Morgan Hill and inspire us all to continue working towards a brighter future for our community.
