Steve Cox is president of Anaerobe Systems, a medical microbiology manufacturing company located in Morgan Hill. Steve attended San Jose State University, graduating with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering. His areas of expertise are medical equipment design and development, and advising companies developing microbiome/probiotic therapeutics on lab techniques.
Steve grew up in Cupertino but has been connected to the Morgan Hill community since 1997 when Anaerobe Systems relocated to Morgan Hill. Through the company, Steve has supported the Youth Action Council of Morgan Hill, AP biology field trips with local high schools, and the San Jose State University Department of Science and Math.
Steve is involved with the South Valley Science and Engineering Fair and Edward Boss Prado Foundation. He lives in Morgan Hill with his wife, Stacy, and their two, young children. Outside of work and family life, Steve enjoys cooking, skiing, and traveling.
