Mark Turner

Mark Turner is a resident of Morgan Hill where he and his wife have raised their family over the last 28 years. In that time Mark has been involved in the community helping with creek clean-up efforts; helping to raise money for Paradise Elementary School where his children attended school; serving on the board of his homeowners’ association; and most recently, over the last 7 years, as the Director of South County’s efforts for Wreaths Across America, raising more than 15,000 each year to place Christmas wreaths on all the graves of veterans buried in Morgan Hill and Gilroy.

In Mark’s fundraising efforts as a part-time auctioneer, he has helped raise more than $10 million dollars for organizations such as Ronald McDonald House, Operation Freedom Paws, DreamPower Horsemanship, South Valley Wine Auction, Pratham USA, Cystic Fibrosis-Northern California Chapter.

Mark is the President/CEO of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce. He received the 2020 Chamber Executive of the Year Award from the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.). W.A.C.E. is the largest state or regional association of chamber of commerce executives in the United States.

Mark is the Chair of the Silicon Valley Chamber Coalition consisting of 18 Chambers of Commerce in and around Silicon Valley. He has been married to his wife Sue for 37 years. He has 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 2 grandchildren.
