Mario Banuelos is one of the original board of directors for the Morgan Hill Community Foundation since its inception in 2002. He continues to passionately believe in the Foundation’s mission and positive impact in the community. In 2014, he retired from the City of San Jose after 23 years of service where he worked with geographic information systems. His areas of expertise included traffic forecast modeling for the City of San Jose, maintaining database information for police and fire departments, and working with public and private organizations to streamline data sharing.
Mario is an active member of the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill and serves as trustee on the board of directors for the Loving and Learning Education Center. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in statistics from San Jose State University.
Mario and his wife Fawn moved to Morgan Hill in 1988 where they raised their four children.
