Fall Cycle 2004


 

  • Emergency Housing Consortium, Inc.: $1,000 to purchase supplies and materials for the Artistic Heritage Project that serves children from low-income families at the Boccardo Family Living Center in San Martin.

  • The Learning and Lovier: $1,000 to purchase supplies and materials for the Early Childhood Education Program that provides low-literacy learners pre-language, pre-literacy, and preschool skills.
  • Upward Bound Youth: $800 to purchase textbooks for the James Ranch for boys Horticultural Program.

  • Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center: $1,000 to sponsor nine sessions at six Title 1 schools in the MHUSD through the center’s Educational Program that promotes respect for animals and the environment.
  • South Valley Symphony: $250 to purchase or rent sheet music for the symphony’s April 2005 concert.
  • South Valley Youth Orchestra: $300 to purchase or rent sheet music for the June 2005 concert. back to top
 

Spring Cycle 2004

     

  • Hometown Holidays: $1,000 to fund performance and rehearsal times at the Community Center Playhouse during the annual Holiday weekend parade and celebrations.
  • South Valley Quilt Association: $500 to purchase supplies and materials for children's quilt making kits at its first annual exhibit during the Taste of Morgan Hill weekend.
  • Live Oak High School Future Business Leaders of America: $500 to purchase supplies and materials for Cupids Craft Fair, a Valentines gift making program open to everyone of all ages.

  • El Toro Home and School Club: $500 to purchase supplies for an after-school dance program for 2nd thru 6th graders. back to top

 


Fall Cycle 2003


 

  • Community Solutions (El Toro Youth Center): $450 to sponsor three 3-hour Friday night basketball sessions at the Britton middle school gym.
  • Learning & Loving Education Center: $550 to purchase pictorial dictionaries and ESL workbooks for the Center’s woman-focused educational program.

  • Upward Bound Youth: $550 to purchase dictionaries, calculators, and workbooks for the GED program at the youth ranch.
  • Community Solutions (El Toro Youth Center): $500 to purchase supplies and materials for the center’s computer literacy and technology program that serves low-income youth and their parents.
  • City of Morgan Hill Recreation & Community Services Division: $300 to sponsor youth scholarships for participation in classes and activities offered by the City of Morgan Hill.
  • Morgan Hill Pop Warner Football League: $250 to sponsor one football scholarship to cover both equipment and registration fees.
  • Mount Madonna YMCA: $150 to sponsor youth scholarships for the Itty Bitty soccer program.
  • Gavilan Community College: $250 to sponsor youth scholarships and transportation to attend the annual Science Alive conference.

Spring Cycle 2003

 

  • Morgan Hill Pony League Baseball: $800 to assist with expenses for the purchase of a tractor to be used to maintain their fields.
  • Morgan Hill, Parks & Community Services Division: $1,500 to purchase a “company box” for their amphitheater.
  • Teachers’ Aid Coalition: $400 to purchase classroom art supplies for teachers.
  • Morgan Hill Unified School District Music Dept: $800 to refurbish and maintain musical equipment for 5th and 6th graders.
  • South Valley Civic Theater: $1,140 to purchase a followspot (spotlight) for the Community Playhouse.
  • South Valley Youth Orchestra: $300 to purchase sheet music for their annual concert. back to top
